Polishing brilliance…

Where Diamonds Become Stories.

Vigne de Glace

The Details
That Matter

Imagine a vine of diamonds climbing your ear, twisting elegantly before releasing into a double-halo teardrop that catches every whisper of light. The vine design is deceptively complex: marquise diamonds form leaves that seem to grow organically upward, while round brilliants create the stem. Then comes the descent—a twisted pathway of pavé diamonds that spirals into not one, but two concentric halos embracing perfectly matched pear-shaped diamonds.

  • 2 pear-shaped center diamonds (3.2ct each, D color, VVS1 clarity)
  • 8 marquise diamonds forming the vine leaves (0.35-0.45ct each)
  • 142 round brilliant diamonds in the vine, twisted stem, and double halos (approximately 8.7ct total)
  • 18K white gold construction throughout
  • Total weight per earring: 11.3 grams
  • Length: 62mm from

  • Articulated drop section: The teardrop moves independently from the vine, creating mesmerizing light play
  • Secure friction post backs with additional safety latch
  • Micro-pavé setting: Diamonds so closely set they appear seamless
  • Rhodium plating: Maintains brilliant white finish and protects against tarnish

The Story Behind the Stones

The center pears: Perfectly matched for size, color, and clarity—a feat that took four months of sourcing. These aren't just any pear-shaped diamonds; they have ideal length-to-width ratios (1.52:1) that make them appear larger than their carat weight suggests. Cut with 58 facets each, positioned to maximize light return when the earrings are in motion.

The marquise leaves: These "navette" cuts are notoriously difficult to match—not just in size, but in the subtle symmetry that makes or breaks the vine illusion. Each stone was calibrated to fit its specific position, creating that organic climbing effect.

The pavé diamonds: 142 stones, each hand-selected for consistent color (F-G) and clarity (VS1-VS2). Set so closely together using micro-prong technique that the metal virtually disappears. The result? Rivers of light that flow from ear to teardrop without interruption.

The double halo innovation: Most designers stop at one halo. We engineered two concentric circles—the inner halo uses slightly smaller stones to create depth, while the outer halo uses calibrated rounds that gradually increase in size as they curve around the pear. This creates an optical illusion: the center stones appear to float, suspended in layers of light.
